A race-day mechanic service tent runs on a different rhythm from a shop floor: bikes arrive faster than a single clamp-on repair stand can cycle them, and the bikes waiting their turn need somewhere to go that isn't propped against a fence. The Event Stand is the bike-holding solution for that pattern. It's a modular bar that holds up to 10 bikes by the saddle in its full-length configuration, sets up in under a minute without tools, and packs into a carrying bag at the end of the day.

The short configuration is 1820 mm / 71 inches end-to-end and holds 4-5 bikes; the extension makes it 2630 mm / 103 inches and carries the full 10. The stand body is rigid enough that a 225 lb mechanic can lean on it without the bar sagging; we tested it. Total weight is 8.2 kg, which is light enough to single-hand into a support vehicle and back out at the next venue.

What this is and what it isn't

The Event Stand is a bike holding line, not a repair stand. You don't wrench on bikes mounted to it; you hold them while they wait for the actual repair stand. The expected pattern is to pair the Event Stand with a single portable repair stand (the BikeGator or the Pro Road Stand) so one mechanic can work the front of the line while up to 9 bikes queue up behind.

Built in Zreče, Slovenia

Unior has been forging hand tools in Zreče since 1919, and is the official technical partner of multiple World Tour and downhill teams. The Event Stand exists because team mechanics at race starts asked for it: a fast-setup, single-bag, multi-bike holder that doesn't fight the limited tent space at the start of a stage. The modular bar is the shape that came out of that ask.

Pro tip from our mechanics

The Event Stand is the right call for race tents, group-ride support, and team-camp service bays where the constraint is bike-storage flow, not wrench throughput. Pairing it with a single portable repair stand turns one mechanic into a 50-rider event's worth of service capacity.
